Hey all.
I was just looking at my blog here and saw that some of you were asking about Cameron.
First off, THANK YOU for your prayers and your sending healing, good energy his way!!
He is doing much better. He was in PICU for about a week. He then was able to go into step-down and then to a room of his own. He was breathing well without the ventilator and they were able to remove the feeding tube when he finally got hungry and strong enough to eat on his own.
Cameron was unresponsive for awhile after the hospital and back at home...the doctors were concerned that his two massive seizures might have caused more damage to his brain.
They did a scan and it looked good! So, I don't think they hurt him.
His personality is a bit changed but not for the worse. He isn't as overwhelmed by stimulation as much.
He smiles all the time when anyone speaks to him and says his name. He used to be afraid of different and unfamiliar voices, but it doesn't seem to bother him now. He gets awfully tired still and sleeps a lot but it is gonna take a LONG time to recover from double pneumonia!! Against initial advice, his parents sent him back to school. We only have one week and I think it is WAY too much for Cameron, but he is holding on and we only have one week left. Everyone is careful not to overdo it with him at school and the other kids on the bus are very concerned and VERY protective of him.
I have a few on our bus who are normal teens who go to a school for troubled kids. They are good kids.
They act tough, cool, "don't care" attitude most of the time
but they just can't help themselves when it comes to Cameron!! LOL!!
They talk to him, call him "little buddy" and ask us how he is...
in spite of their "cool" act! HAHA!!
I just continue to pray for Cameron and I ask that you all would too..I KNOW in my heart that it has helped him so much.

Time to go finish my chores..They never end, do they?! LOL

AWESOME news for Cameron. I hope he will get much better over the summer!!! 
I had a few tears in my eyes as I read this post...I really appreciate the update, S. You guys have both in my prayers since you made the initial post that he was ill and I am well beynd happy that Cameron's out and recovering. What a traumatic experience for a child to go through! He had a lot of prayer support, though, and it extremely satisfying to see the power of that in action. And the results. This made my day!!!! Thanks, S...hope you have a great week.
